  • Every therapist has their own unique personality. The first few sessions are a chance to see how we work together and if it feels like a good mutual fit. The most important element in a therapist client relationship is feeling safe.

  • I work with all types of individuals and couples. Everyone is welcome.

  • I meet with all new clients for weekly sessions. We can adjust session frequency as needed.

  • Please contact me for my current fee structure. A limited number of sliding scale slots are available based on financial need.

    I am in-network with Lyra Health for individual and couples therapy.

    I do not take any other form of insurance. If you have a PPO plan, your insurance may provide partial reimbursement for out of network services. I am happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance.

  • The course of therapy looks different for everyone and depends on the presenting symptoms and responsiveness to treatment. Some clients benefit from a short course of therapy focused on symptom reduction; while others prefer building a long term supportive relationship to address ongoing life circumstances.

  • Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes, unless extended sessions are desired.

    Couples therapy sessions range from 1-2 hours.

  • My practice is primarily telehealth for California and Florida residents. Several times a year I offer blocks of in person sessions in both CA and FL.

  • I tailor my approach to each client I see. The modalities I draw from most frequently are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, & The Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT).

  • I only work with adults. I don't see children or adolescents in my practice. The following conditions are outside my area of expertise; eating disorders, bipolar disorders and psychotic disorders.
