INDIVIDUAL THERAPYI work with individuals navigating all kinds of challenges.
Whatever brought you here, therapy is a space to understand yourself more fully and move toward the life you want. Below are some of the reasons people reach out.
-

Anxiety
Whether it's generalized anxiety, social anxiety, or panic attacks, fear and worry interferes with daily life. Anxiety can show up as indecisiveness, self doubt, ruminating about the past, or catastrophizing about the future. You may find yourself struggling with intrusive thoughts & images that cause you shame or asking for constant reassurance. I can help you learn tools to decrease suffering and reconnect with joy.
-

Boundaries & People Pleasing
When we struggle with boundaries we run the risk of abandoning ourselves. Difficulty saying no and people pleasing often lead to self sacrifice and eventual resentment. Identifying healthy boundaries can improve your relationships. When we have clarity about our needs, and communicate them directly, our self esteem and sense of agency flourishes.
-

Attachment and Relationships
Our early family experiences inform how safe we feel in connection to others. Maybe you feel anxious and insecure if your friend hasn't texted you back, or maybe your partner(s)' desire for more time together feels suffocating. Our attachment style shows up in many relationship constellations; friends, family, partners, and community.
-

Life Transitions
New identities emerge in moments of transition. Single parent, returning student, widowed, newly married, etc. As we move through different chapters in our life, we navigate the joys and challenges of meeting ourselves again and again.
-

Trauma
I work with people navigating the wounds that come from harm; including racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, classism, and other forms of systemic oppression. The shame that accompanies trauma can be deeply isolating and painful. I believe healing is possible when we address not just individual pain, but the broader social forces that shape it.
-

Mindfulness
Mindfulness can allow us to build present-moment awareness along with a compassionate relationship with ourselves. I weave mindfulness practices into my work with clients to provide self regulation skills that can be used in daily life. These practices support us in moments of uncertainty, as well as in coping with overwhelm and trauma.
Curious how I work?
My approach is compassionate and collaborative. I approach therapy with curiosity, warmth, and a healthy sense of humor. I'm an active, engaged therapist — I'll listen closely, reflect, and think alongside you rather than sit quietly across the room.
I believe our behaviors always make sense when we consider the context, so this is a judgement-free space to get curious about the patterns you want to change. My goal is to fully engage with you and offer skills and tools you can carry beyond our sessions, drawing on approaches like PACT, ACT, mindfulness, and schema therapy, shaped around what you need.
